Our Story
TACONTAINER is the result of a family taking a chance on a dream. Built by siblings, spouses, and a lot of hard work, we created TACONTAINER to bring together the things we love most: authentic tacos, ice-cold drinks, live music, soccer nights, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
Every table, every recipe, every event, and every late night has been built with one goal in mind: to create a place where our community can gather and feel at home. We're not a corporate restaurant. We're a family-owned business that works here every day, serves our guests personally, and takes pride in every plate that leaves our kitchen.
Whether you're here for Taco Tuesday, margaritas with friends, live music on the patio, or simply a great meal, we're grateful you're here. Because TACONTAINER isn't just about tacos. It's about family, community, and creating memories, one taco at a time.

Food was delicious!!!! Hotdog Mexa, el Titan and tacos matamoros de bistec. The industrial atmosphere and decor was cool. Plenty of seating. They serve beer and micheladas too.

First time here at this wonderful modern-ish restaurant. Past by this restaurant several times and finally dove in. Was definitely NOT disappointed. Absolutely great food, really great service and absolutely amazing atmosphere. Truly tasteful food, absolutely incredible flavor in every bite. Amazingly fresh food for the hour of the day that my wife and I went. I truly can not brag enough about this place. Reasonably priced as well.

This place has been brought back, and it does not disappoint. I've been by twice since they've re-opened. Sinchronizada: S Tier Tacos Matamoros: So freaking good. The salsas taste really good, authentic, and hit the right spice levels. (I LOVE spicy food) Whatever they did with their michelada mix, they did it so right. Really glad to see this place open back up in such a central part of North McAllen. When I got charged I was so surprised by the ticket...
